Accomplishments
Jumpei Sasakawa is President of The Nippon Foundation, Japan’s largest private philanthropic organization, addressing social issues in Japan and worldwide. Since joining the Foundation in 2014, he has led initiatives in education reform, disability inclusion, disaster recovery, and youth empowerment. He has spearheaded projects such as launching ZEN University, a fully online university established in Japan, and partnering with the LFC Foundation, the charitable arm of Liverpool Football Club, to develop sports-based education programs.
Sasakawa is also President and CEO of LIVNEX Corporation, a Japanese housing company with a 90-year legacy. He holds a master’s degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
