Experience Minerva University first-hand in San Francisco on Saturday, March 8 or Saturday April 19. During this in-person event, you will take a tour of Minerva's residence halls, visit the university office, connect with peers from the Class of 2029, and meet our vibrant community of students and staff. You and up to two guests, such as your parents or guardians, are invited to attend.
We are happy to provide a partial reimbursement of your travel costs to help facilitate your participation in this exciting event.

Travel Reimbursement Policy
Please pay close attention to the guidelines below before booking your travel. If you have any questions, please contact outreach@minerva.edu.
- Admitted students are eligible for travel reimbursement that will cover up to 80% of their transportation (flight or mileage) cost, not to exceed a total of $800.00 USD.
- Minerva University can only reimburse travel expenses related to the travel of the admitted student. Travel expenses incurred by family members, travel partners, etc. will not be reimbursed.
- In order to qualify for reimbursement, the admitted student must attend the full schedule of events on either March 8, 2025 or April 19, 2025. If an exception is required, it must be approved in advance. Students can email outreach@minerva.edu with their request and explanation.
- Reimbursements are only available to cover transportation costs (airfare or mileage). We are not able to provide reimbursement for hotel or meals.
- Minerva University cannot reimburse travel expenses paid for by hotel or credit card points, or frequent flier miles.
- Requests for reimbursement must be submitted by April 30, 2025. No exceptions will be made.
- All reimbursement requests for flights must be accompanied by a receipt for the flight purchased.
- Reimbursement requests for mileage must include a map (i.e. Google Maps) indicating the location of departure, location of arrival, and total mileage.
Reimbursement processing will begin after your attendance at the event. It can take up to four (4) weeks to process your request and for funds to be transferred to your bank account. Depending on the banking institution, funds may take longer to process. Minerva University is not responsible for any fees charged by the intermediary and/or receiving banks. The final amount received into your bank account may vary depending on such fees.
Once your travel is booked, please complete the Travel Reimbursement Form. You will be required to provide documentation (receipts) of your booked flight in order to submit this form.
